What I am doing

My goal with this project is to utilize technology to have better communication between myself and the parents of the students I teach. I think that using voicemail, email, and a classroom web page can increase the involvement of the parents in their students' educational experience. I have been reading a lot of information about the correlation of parental involvement and academic achievement. The National PTA is a good resource for learning about how parents can get involved and how it affects their student.
